After the massive success of last year's lessons, I will once again be teaching knife throwing classes, this coming October, for those who'd like to learn this fun and satisfying hobby.
Please know that spots are on a first come, first serve basis and even if spots do not fill up, the cutoff date for signing up is May 7th. This is to ensure the knives can be made and shipped to me in enough time for the classes to start and so you have enough time to make arrangements for work/school/etc... Plan for your lesson to be on the second weekend in October, in Raynham, Massachusetts. Exact date will be determined by the sign up cut off date - it will be either the Saturday (10/12) or Sunday (10/13). PLEASE NOTE - you are signing up for ONE class, on one day. I like to keep class sizes small, so that I can focus attention on everyone individually to ensure success. I will be limiting this class to only 5 people, so secure your spot now before it's gone.
The class typically runs a few hours and you'll learn the basics of throwing knives, tomahawks, shurikens, hatchets, and hurlbats. I'll teach you how to throw multiple distances for rotational throwing, as well as an introduction to no-spin knife throwing. I'll show you how I build my target boards/ log rounds and the best places to get the materials at the best prices.
You will also get a professional throwing knife to keep and a care kit for it. These knives are made for me by a forge in Canada and are true workhorses. I even let my students throw my long time show knives, so everyone can feel the differences in different blades. Class size is very limited because I want everyone to get personal attention from me and ensure throwing success, so book a lesson quickly, before each spot fills up. There will be drinks and snacks, plus a lot of fun stories and some good laughs. Last year's classes were a great time and everyone left being able to hit the target.
Please note - this is a lesson in throwing at a target - NOT throwing around people, like we do in the show. Due to the liability, I don't teach impalement art throwing. These lessons are only for throwing into a target board or log round.
Let's recap... You will -
* Learn the basics of throwing various knives, as well as tomahawks, shurikens, and hurlbats.
* Learn how to construct your own target board or log round and where to get the best (and most inexpensive) target materials.
* Learn various distance rotational throwing.
* Have an introduction to non-rotational knife throwing.
* Get personal attention during your lesson to ensure success. I've never given up on a student and everyone leaves satisfied.
* Get a heavy duty professional throwing knife, made one at a time by a Canadian forge, plus a care kit for it.
* Have some laughs and hear some funny road stories from my 20+ year career.
>>> PLEASE NOTE - YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE, OR OLDER, TO TAKE THIS CLASS. <<<
The lesson, knife, and care kit cost is $300. I can accept PayPal, Venmo, or good 'ol cash. Payment must be made in full and upfront, to secure your spot. To be fair to everyone, spots cannot be held without payment.
To sign up, please EMAIL ME BY CLICKING HERE to get in while the gettin's good - before it's goodbye to this good buy! As long as this page is live, there are still spots available. Once you email me, we can make arrangements on payment.
Again, even if spots do not fill up, the cut off date for signing up is May 7th. This is to ensure the knives can be made and shipped to me in enough time for the classes to start and so you have enough time to make arrangements for work/school/etc...
